We aim to alleviatie tension, increase stimulation, and relax the scalp muscles. Applying deep conditioning treatments, aromatherapy, and hot towels, heated eye masks, globes, massage tools and head sauna, steam treatment, allowing moisture to deeply penetrate each strand of hair.

The soothing massage techniques used in a head spa aim reduce stress and tension. Which will not only improve your mood but also enhances overall mental wellbeing.

Studies have shown that a clean scalp, rid of buildup and otherwise healthy scalp, improves blood circulation, which can promote hair growth and prevent hair loss. Better circulation will also ensure essential nutrients reach the hair follicles, making hair thicker and stronger.

Steaming your hair and scalp as part of your regular routine can help to unclog pores and encourage healthy hair growth. Our Head Spa uses gentle ingredients throughout; therefore, it is completely safe for pregnant ladies. However, some guests may be concerned about being exposed to certain herbs and oils while they are expecting. Therefore, it would be best to consult your midwife / doctor to see if there is anything you should avoid.

Another concern would be that we require clients to lay completely flat on your back during the whole duration of the service. If this is something you are unable to do, then it may be best to wait until after the delivery before trying the head spa.

How much does it cost?

Japanese Headspa - £95

How often is a Japanese Headspa Treatment recommended?

We recommend indulging in a Headspa treatment once a month. As the skin, including the scalp, undergoes a renewal cycle of approximately 28 days, scheduling a monthly Headspa appointment can effectively contribute to maintaining a healthy scalp.

Does it include a blow dry?

You have the choice to finish your treatment by leaving the hair mask on in which you can rinse out at home up to 12 hours later, which we personally recommend leaving in the deep conditioning treatment and plaiting the hair to allow the full benefits of the headspa, rather than indulging your hair into full luxury, to then apply heat damage. However we do offer a blast dry for an extra £25.
